PRINCIPAL PROFILE

Kai Williamson

Kai is the principal of Studio 7 Design Group, where she leads a diverse and dedicated team to provide optimal design results for clients. With two degrees from Georgia Tech, Kai is an Atlanta raised (Oakland born) designer who surrendered her title as CEO of an education nonprofit in 2014 to expand the firm into a design powerhouse. Over the past seven years, she has built a diverse and high profile network of clientele in the sports, entertainment, finance, political and business industries. A firm believer in the power of exceptional design, Kai’s portfolio of residential and commercial projects is a clear indicator of why she’s considered a formidable and adaptive presence in the design community.

Senior Interior Designer

Tavia Lawrence, RID, NCIDQ, IIDA

As a creative problem solver, Tavia is a detail-oriented designer with a strong passion for design excellence in dynamic and innovative environments. She has over 6 years of interior design experience, is NCIDQ certified and a registered Interior Designer in the state of Georgia. She desires to tell a story by designing elements into a bespoke environment. Most recently, Tavia was an Interior Designer at Gensler, where she led several commercial projects, explicitly creating innovative workplace and conceptual designs and executing on all phases of the project scope. Before that, she held designer roles at various firms assisting with workplace strategy, interior architectural design, standards, space planning, and documentation, working closely with the project team in achieving the goals and culture desired by the client. She holds of BFA in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
